Resetting the cartridge to "Full" Xerox Phaser 6100 - 6100dn - 6100bd CLP510 - CLP 510N printers - Have a "Killer Chip" inside the cartridge - look at a cartridge with the handle towards you - on the right hand side there are 3 contacts and with the top / side cover removed you can locate the chip here - There is one chip per cartridge and these must be replaced with new chips before the cartridge will work again. A soldering iron is required to do it.

Do this on a surface which can tolerate any spillage. Please note that refilling is a practical task requiring some tools & practical skills
